Common questions

The app can't find places near me. Open the iPhone Settings app, then Privacy & Security, then Location Services, then What's for Dinner?, and choose While Using the App. You can also type a town or ZIP code in the app.

A place is closed or gone. Map data comes from Apple Maps and does not include opening hours. Tap Call on the result to check, or spin again.

How do I delete what I shared online? In the app, open Settings, then Privacy, and tap the button that removes everything you shared online. It deletes your profile, leaderboard entries, ratings, friend links, invites and usage stats. Data on your phone is removed when you delete the app.

How do I report or block someone? Open their entry on a leaderboard or their profile and tap Report or Block. We review reports within a day.

How do I turn off usage stats or sharing? Settings, then Privacy, then Share usage stats. Leaderboards, ratings and your public profile each have their own switch in Settings.

Friends, invites or leaderboards don't load. These use your iCloud account. Make sure you are signed in to iCloud in the iPhone Settings app and have a connection, then reopen the app.
